CONDUCT, EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY POLICY:
Non-consensual sex is not a theme of this game, and does not exist in our setting. Referencing this or attempting to roleplay on this theme will NOT be tolerated and will result in a final warning, and depending on the circumstances you may be asked to leave the game.
This is an 18+ game, anyone under that age at time of sign-up will not be offered a ticket.
This will NOT be a gender neutral game. The Grey Wardens are an explicitly gender neutral order and may take action against any discrimination that occurs, but player characters are allowed to explore these themes within their cultural backgrounds, as long as it is done safely with all participants consent.
There are some themes within Dragon Age that participants in the game will have real world experiences of, and it is important to represent these safely within the game. Themes of homophobia, transphobia and sexism may appear in a player’s backstory with explicit consent, but roleplay on these themes during the game will require consent from all parties, and should involve diligent check-ins and collaboration from all involved.
Sexuality and romance is a theme within the Dragon Age setting, and there will be mechanics within the rule set on how this should be represented in game. We would like to make it clear that nudity is not permitted at the game, and you should not engage in OC sexual activity during gameplay. All romantic roleplay should be done through check-ins and consent from all players involved.
It is not immersion breaking or scene ruining to check in with your fellow players about their OC safety, and we encourage regular support after intense emotional scenes.
It is not acceptable to insult someone’s character based on the player’s out of character attributes, such as their out of character race, age, weight, height, sexuality, gender identity, neurodiversity or disability. Any incidents of discrimination along these lines must be brought to the game team (George, Tristain, Red and Con) and we will take appropriate action.
We are working on a clear accessibility document about our site, and will have this available as soon as possible. We are informed that wheelchair users have accessed this site before, but it does consist of uneven ground, pathways and woodland areas. We expect this LARP to involve some physical exertion, threat and movement. Hot water and electricity are available to players. There are plumbed onsite showers and toilets and handwashing stations are available. We will have both physical and mental health first aiders on site, and we do have a fridge for any medication that needs to be kept cold. There is an OC space available for self-care and decompression.
Under GDPR we cannot publish a list of player names, but participants are welcome to contact us regarding any concerns regarding another player.
We will share a list of player names with those who receive ticket offers to ensure player safety and facilitate character links. All information is held securely in line with GDPR guidance
There are safety tools and mechanics within the game ruleset, which will be published early 2026. This policy will be updated once this is completed.
This conduct policy applies to all game spaces, including online ones.
Below is a link to our Accessibility Statement. This was drafted following the game team’s site visit and may be updated as things arise and we develop our game.
